    Messina is the lead assistant. Udoka gets to be the lead assistant in Philly, I assume. The Sixers have been a good springboard to head coaching jobs (D'Antoni, Monty Williams, Lloyd Pierce). This is a step up for Udoka, especially because it doesn't look like Messina is going to get a head coaching job in the NBA any time soon.
