    I was wondering about that, R.Kelly actually filmed himself doing it with a child, there was evidence, but in the Michael Jackson case, there was nothing, just a kid with a mother with a reputation for lying just to get money.

    Judge won't toss kid porn charges against R. Kelly

    R&B superstar R. Kelly failed to get the child pornography case against him thrown out Friday.

    Cook County Judge Vince Gaughan ruled that the 33-month window during which prosecutors say Kelly allegedly made a video of himself engaging in sex acts with an underage girl is narrow enough for Kelly to defend.

    Last month, Kelly won a round when Gaughan ruled that prosecutors must be more specific about when they think Kelly allegedly made the videotape. The indictment gives only a broad window of more than four years, from Nov. 1, 1997, to Feb. 1, 2002, during which prosecutors say the videotape was made at a house Kelly owned in Chicago.

    Gaughan had said Illinois case law didn't appear to allow prosecutors to be so vague, and ordered prosecutors to narrow down the time frame, although he wasn't specific.

    Motions filed by Kelly's lawyers suggest he may argue that the tape was made at the end of that time span, when the girl would have been 17 years old.

    The judge on Friday also ordered prosecutors to give Kelly's attorneys copies of any computer programs used to make digital versions of the tape they plan to show in court.
