Makes no sense for Iran to antagonize the U.S. while they're still trying to make a nuke.
Could be the Saudis wanting to prop up oil without having to cut production.
Pompeo blames Iran with 0 evidence.
Iran is too smart to pull stupid stunts like this, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was a Wahhabi or Zionist false flag
America can't do a damn thing to us -Imam Khomeini

Iran has flexed some muscles to show it can be disruptive. This is why USA got caught with its pants down with sending their strike force to the Persian Gulf and putting lots of sailors as sitting ducks in their floating bathtubs. This is why US has toned it down a bit.
But I agree these latest attack makes no sense as Japanese leader was in Iran meeting with Ayatollah as this was happening and the ships were Japanese.
I am sure Israelis are all up in that cake as well. Persian Gulf is filled with crazy mother ers and USA sending their sailors to sit there and sing kumbaya is gonna get them obliterated like what happened in Lebanon
but-but
dont you believe the word coming from the administration headed by the biggest liar on the planet?

US destroyer heading to the area. Putting our sailors in harms way.
This smells like a false flag especially with the fireworks going on at the Gaza strip right now
No hard evidence and it’s difficult to believe the Iranians would do anything this stupid.
Most accounts say the US has not yet laid out a case yet but was consulting allies.
Russian sailors aboard one of the targeted vessels complicating matters further.
Right now this is a mess.
From the Washington Post:
The U.S. Central Command late Thursday released a video and timeline that suggested U.S. military assets observed Iranian vessels returning to the Courageous to retrieve the unexploded mine.
“At 4:10 p.m. local time an IRGC Gashti Class patrol boat approached the M/T Kokuka Courageous and was observed and recorded removing the unexploded limpet mine” from the Courageous, said Capt. Bill Urban, the spokesman for Central Command.
U.S. officials said several nations are consulting about how to respond. One option may be to provide military escorts for commercial tankers moving through the Strait of Hormuz, one official said, although no decision has been made.
wtf are you reading or are you again just making up?
Further complicating matters at this point.
But in remarks to Japanese media, the president of the company that owns the ship said the vessel wasn’t damaged by a mine. “A mine doesn’t damage a ship above sea level," said Yutaka Katada, president of Kokuka Sangyo, the owner and operator of the vessel. “We aren’t sure exactly what hit, but it was something flying towards the ship,” he said.

A drone attack would be in line with other attacks reported. So much ambiguity, I wonder if we will ever know what really happened.
Are we supposed to believe the corrupt lying deeep state
USA intel agencies???
the corrupt partisan CIA????
the obama military?
the hrc state dept?
or
the liar in the white house?
tough choices when national security is at stake
how do you feel now that you supported trump tearing them all down???
Trump will only believe putin
should we ask putin???
TSA
any thoughts?
DUCKS?
CHRIS?
I think any major oil-producer is suspect. Military action in the M/E will increase the price of oil and $10Bs in revenue.
But the imminent drop in global business and oil demand might keep the oil price sane
Japanese tanker operator has just obliterated US theory that it was Iranian mines. He said the crew saw flying objects fly towards the ship and that there's no way a mine would damage the ship above the surface

7 Reasons to Doubt US Version of Gulf-of-Oman Incident
No. 1: Pompeo is a known liar, especially when it comes to Iran.Pompeo has a well-established history of circulating blatant lies about Iran. He recently told an audienceat Texas A&M University that when he was leading the CIA, “We lied, we cheated, we stole. We had entire training courses.”
No. 2: The US empire is known to use lies and false flags to start wars. The U.S.-centralized power alliance has an extensive and well-do ented history of advancing preexisting military agendas using lies, false flags and psyops to make targeted governments appear to be the aggressors.
No. 3: John Bolton has openly endorsed lying to advance military agendas.
On a December 2010 episode of Fox News’ “Freedom Watch,” Bolton and the show’s host Andrew Napolitano were debating about recent WikiLeaks publications, and naturally the subject of government secrecy came up.No. 4: Using false flags to start a war with Iran is already an established idea in the DC swamp.
“Now I want to make the case for secrecy in government when it comes to the conduct of national security affairs, and possibly for deception where that’s appropriate,” Bolton said.
“You know Winston Churchill said during World War Two that in wartime truth is so important it should be surrounded by a bodyguard of lies.”
“Do you really believe that?” asked an incredulous Napolitano.
“Absolutely,” Bolton replied.“You would lie in order to preserve the truth?”
“If I had to say something I knew was false to protect American national security, I would do it,” Bolton answered.
Back in 2012 at a forum for the Washington Ins ute of Near East Policy think tank, the group’s
Director of Research Patrick Clawson openly talked about the possibility of using a false flag
to provoke a war with Iran, citing the various ways the U.S. has done exactly that with its previous wars.
No. 5: The US State Department has already been running psyops to manipulate the public Iran narrative.
State Department officials admitted to congressional staff at a closed-door meeting on Monday that
a $1.5 million troll farm had gone “beyond the scope of its mandate” by aggressively smearing American critics of the Trump administration’s Iran policy as propagandists for the Iranian government
Critics in Washington have gone further, saying that the programme resembled the type of troll farms used by autocratic regimes abroad,”
No. 6: The Gulf of Oman narrative makes no sense.
Iran has been conducting itself with remarkable restraint in the face of relentless sanctions and provocations from the U.S. and its allies.
It wouldn’t make much sense for it to suddenly abandon that restraint with attacks on sea vessels,
then rescue their crew,
then deny perpetrating the attacks,
during a time of diplomatic exchanges and
while trying to preserve the nuclear deal with Europe.
No. 7: Even if Iran did perpetrate the attack, Pompeo would still be lying.
Pompeo’s statement uses the words “unprovoked” twice and “Iran’s provocative acts” once,
explicitly claiming that the U.S. empire was just minding its own business leaving Iran alone when it was attacked out of the blue by a violent aggressor.
Sometimes the things put out by the U.S. State Department feel like they’re conducting experiments on us, just to test the limits of our stupidity.
the U.S. has been provoking Iran with extremely aggressive and steadily tightening sanctions,
which means that even if Tehran is behind the attacks,
it would not be the aggressor and the attacks would most certainly not have been “unprovoked.”
Economic sanctions are an act of war;
we have seen exactly zero evidence supporting Pompeo’s claims,
so anyone you see hastening to blame Iran for the Gulf of Oman incident is either a war or a slobbering moron, or both.

Oil Tanker Owner Contradicts White House On Explosive In Mideast Ship Attack
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/oil-t...b0dc17ef09f629The company that owns one of the two oil tankers attacked Thursday near the Strait of Hormuz contradicted Trump administration and U.S. military reports linking the incident to an Iranian sea mine.
U.S. Central Command said that the Norwegian-owned MT Front Altair and the Japanese Kokula Courageous were attacked Thursday by a limpet mine, which is attached to ships below the water line. The military released a video that officials claimed showed an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps patrol boat removing an unexploded mine from the 560-foot Courageous.
But an official of the company that owns the Courageous said Friday that the vessel appeared to be struck in the Gulf of Oman by something that “flew towards the ship,” NBC reported.
“We received reports that something flew towards the ship,” Yutaka Katada, president of Kokaku Sangyo Co., said at a press conference, according to NBC. “The place where the projectile landed was significantly higher than the water level, so we are absolutely sure that this wasn’t a torpedo. I do not think there was a time bomb or an object attached to the side of the ship.”
Have you seen the video evidence the US Navy released? What a ing disgrace , they really do think we're all stupid and worst of all they are mostly right, cheap oil is way more important than truth or justice (why even mention innocent life, poor brown people's only value is as a threat to white people, they wouldn't be on the "news" otherwise )
Is it a disgrace that Iran is holding one of the damaged ships with its minifleet and has the sailors in Iran?
Is it a disgrace that Iran will not allow its owner to tow it?
As the evidence trickles in, its looking bad for Iran.
No evidence my ass. They have drone video of them removing an unexploded mine for Chrissakes.
could it be simple self-interest? to clear that seaway critical to Iran's oil business?
