    Deividas Sirvydis

    Country: Lithuania
    Position: SF
    Age: 19
    Height: 6-foot-8.5
    Weight: 195
    Wingspan: 6-foot-7.25
    Draft Range: Second Round
    Combine Results? No

Why: Has a smooth left-handed three-point stroke that appears to be effortless. Moves well without the ball and his height and quick release allows him to get his shot off in just about any cir stance. Blessed with a high basketball IQ and can even do some playmaking.

Why Not: Extremely weak and gets pushed around in Europe. Can his slender frame add muscle? Tough to say. Not much of an athlete; well below average in terms of running and jumping. Short arms.

    Yovel Zoosman

    Country: Israel
    Position: SF
    Age: 21
    Height: 6-foot-7
    Weight: 200
    Wingspan: 7-foot-1
    Draft Range: Second Round
    Combine Results? No

Why: Solidly built wing with long arms and adequate strength. Very high basketball IQ. Plays hard. Has already proven he can help a good team in Europe by playing a role. Quality passer with impressive court vision.

Why Not: Sub par athlete. Slow, can't jump. Has three-point range but he's only an average shooter. Awkward shooting form; it takes a while for him to wind up and let it fly.

    Marcos Louzada Silva

    Country: Brazil
    Position: SG
    Age: 19
    Height: 6-foot-5.5
    Weight: 203
    Wingspan: 6-foot-6.75
    Draft Range: Second Round
    Combine Results? No

Why: Pretty good overall athlete with legit three-point range (has a career three-point percentage hovering around 45%). Athleticism has improved a lot over the last year. Above average first step.

Why Not: Extremely raw. Limited basketball IQ. Doesn't do much yet other than shoot open three-pointers. Has a slow release on his jumper, would need to speed it up to survive in the NBA.

    Joshua Obiesie

    Country: Germany
    Position: SG/PG
    Age: 19
    Height: 6-foot-6
    Weight: 193
    Wingspan: 6-foot-6
    Draft Range: Second Round
    Combine Results? No

Why: Very good ballhandler for size; could develop into a full-time point guard down the road. Fluid athlete who can defend multiple positions. Plays confidently and has held his own against pro athletes.

Why Not: Shooting form needs work and he doesn't shoot at a high percentage yet. While fluid, he's not an explosive athlete. Makes a lot of mistakes on both ends -- needs a long time before he's ready for the bright lights.

    Adam Mokoka

    Country: France
    Position: SG
    Age: 20
    Height: 6-foot-5
    Weight: 190
    Wingspan: 6-foot-10
    Draft Range: Second Round
    Combine Results? No

Why: Impressive on-ball defender. Uses his length really well and has the quickness and strength to defend point guards through small forwards. Played point guard this year in Europe and wasn't a total disaster but would need to be a SG in the NBA.

Why Not: Shoots poorly from three-point range. Turns the ball over a lot. Very robotic on the offensive end; doesn't have much natural talent or feel for the game. Low ceiling as an off the bench defensive specialist.

Don't love Sirvydis or Zoosman, but I'm cool with drafting the other three and seeing what happens. If any of those guys is willing to come to Austin for their stash year(s) rather than stay where they are, they'd move up my list. Two years with the Toros will do more to improve them than anything else they'll do in the mean time. The Spurs' stash coffers are completely barren now. Part of that is the new trends in the NBA. But part is that they have been using their seconds on low-upside but still low-floor college prospects. There are guys who could make NBA teams who should be there at 49. But stashing is a real possibility.

Forgot what mock draft it was, but one of them has the Spurs taking Mokoka in the 2nd round.

I think I would prefer they trade the pick rather than take one of these guys. Joking?
