TPPF, in a study of studies, thought immigration was probably a net economic positive for Texas, but admittedly, it's not an easy thing to measure, especially nationwide.

My intended emphasis wasn't economic but demographic -- the US is getting older. We need more young people to sustain economic vitality. The current trajectory of US population growth is suboptimal .
