He looked active alright...
His J looked weird to me though.
I think he made us a little undersized, since they are gonna spare some minutes with him.
But he looked fine.
Thought he looked good overall. Still learning the defense. Has good instincts. Was not afraid to use his body down low. His J looked solid. Didn't make bad decisions nor take bad shots. Somewhat active, at least more than Radoslav.

He looks pretty good, solid. Didn't see any probs with him. Did Rasho dunk the ball early on, I didn't see it, but it said Rasho scored didn't know if it was a dunk or not?
He Rashoed to shots 2 feet from the basket, he lost some rebounds, and the afformentioned oompa loompa deflection I have made in other threads. If he pump fakes more and gets a tan I think we'll see Malik again.
Size wasn't an issue with Oberto.
Please mark this comment, save it. Let's bring this back in May.
must be the hair in the way, has he got a haircut yet
You forgot the good plays he made and plus he hustled more than Rasho + Nazr, in this game.
LOST...and that is OK. He will be until March. But watch out then!
He was usually matched up against Najera.....
Najera ended up with 14 points... it might've been a good night for Najera, but there's no excuse for that.
He should've been better against him, so if size wasn't an issue, he has some problems with the D.
I can't picture him going against a starter with better defensive numbers.
more than half of Najera's points were not against Oberto
Najera's points came off garbage baskets or plays where Oberto was screened out. Maybe he can run through the screen and rack up some fouls next time.
Najera and Melo were garbage men tonight.
Who were they against?
Did he guard Kamby or Kmart well, I do recall Martin going right around him and scoring, congrats Oberto you played good again Denver's scrubs.
That's all I have to say about that...
Najera should buy a lotto ticket tonight with all those lucky jumpers. He would have given steve kerr a run for his money tonight.
I thought Oberto looked pretty bad. He can't jump or something. I'm not really sure. Anyway, he'll get acclimated like the rest of them. The Spurs have tremendous depth. If they stay healthy, they'll be fine.
My thoughts.
My thoughts.I thought Oberto looked pretty bad
I dont see what he did that was so great.
He grabbed a couple of wide open rebounds and a couple of layups.
If Rasho had a game like this, youd still say he was overpaid.
But, typical Spurs fan Rasho haters.
More active on the boards and more successful than Radoslav on the boards and also at scoring down low. Radoslav has had a couple of seasons to learn the Spurs' defensive schemes. Oberto? One preseason. 6 pts (on 3-4 shooting) & 4 rebs in 14 minutes is solid production for the 4th big in SA. Oberto did show a little of the offensive skills that will make him a nice piece up front as he gets more familiar with his teammates.
Oberto is fine offensively, as I have said, but defensively he got owned and majorly outrebounded.
The one Pop was furious with was Nazr. He got chewed out big time twice-- Pop was all red faced and yanked him out in the fourth quarter.
Bull .More active on the boards and more successful than Radoslav on the boards
You see what you want to see cause of your childish Nesterovic hate.
True. Nazr found his way to the dog house in one game. The one Pop was furious with was Nazr. He got chewed out big time twice-- Pop was all red faced and yanked him out in the fourth quarter.
Did you watch the game? Which player looked like he had been with this team for the last 2 seasons?
