    vs Houston (2017) - win
    15/4/4 on 50%

    vs Memphis (2017) - win
    16/3/2 on 53%

How in earth does this guy get relegated to a 3rd stringer after putting up those numbers? I still don’t think he should have left, but what exactly changed in our front office/ownership to warrant that and where we are right now as a team (bottom-feeder).

He heard the noise about Kawhi needing help because LaMarcus was trash and he answered the call.

He got injured remember? He came back a lot earlier from his injury than expected and he worked really hard to get his game back, but a combination of father time and injuries slowed him enough to where he wasn't as fast as he used to be and had to resort to his jumpshot much more and he was streaky. If Tony wasn't getting in the paint and creating he just wasn't as effective. It was Tony himself who suggested Dejounte should be starting. I commend Tony on that. Legend.

tony only played two games against houston.

i remember predicting the spurs would win the series without tony after he went down. i was right.

Good prediction. Spurs won every series Tony played in and lost every series he didn’t. What’s new?

The 2017 spurs during the playoffs were very underrated. I think they are up there with some of the best iterations of the team and could have won the championship. It’s a shame that the season ended prematurely due to injuries.

By Spurstalk shortbus for sure...not by anyone who watched him dominate Conley his entire career.

Shouldn't you be posting this on a Hornets forum or something? That's where Parker retired.

I still remember when Manu went down in the last game of the season in 2009, and Enrique tried to go hero against the Mavs... goes without saying we lost that series in the first round

Yah I remember that series too, when Parker averaged 29/7/4 on 55%. I’d love to see a series where Manu gives us half of that.

They win that series if Duncan gives him any help. Some bench minutes with Manu would have helped as usual, but it’s not going to be the difference in a series unless we’re talking 8 turnovers in 2013.

And that was in between the 67-win Mavs and the NBA champion Mavs, so we’re talking about a decent team at least.

    Tony Parker as a Spur:

    16 seasons, 6x All-Star, 4x All-NBA, FMVP
    1364 games started, 23518 points, 8179 assists

    Manu Ginobili as a Spur:

    15 seasons, 2x All-Star, 2x All-NBA
    402 games started, 17097 points, 4828 assists

If we can post about Manu here, surely we can post about a guy who gave us about twice what Manu did overall.
