Battle of desperate teams. Marcus Morris and Rj barrett are good enough with the defense of Frank nickilina to beat the Spurs. Gotta give the young guys (Metu, Walker IV) some early run, the old guys (Gay/Aldridge) are too tired on a back to back.
The Spurs are definitely tanking.
i wish pop would play the line up he played with less than 2 mins to go last night. I mean metu confidently taking and making a deep 2 already makes him a better player the jakob, work of the raptors young core, poodle.

White/Derozan/Carrol/LMA/Poetl to start
Patty/Lonnie/Bryn or Beli/Gay/Poetl off the bench...
Problem solved... it's really not rocket science. the bad defenders need to be surrounded by plus defenders... it's actually so frustrating. I think Pop's belief in the system is his greatest strength and greatest weakness. He really believes they can be better than the sum of the parts. It works to an extent when you have anchors. We just don't have those now. And now since we don't we have to upgrade the collective parts....
With our starting lineup being the worst defense in the NBA I would think we could and will lose most games. Today is winnable, but so was Atlanta, Blazers, and the Wizards.

If they lose tonight someone is gone...Pop, LMA or DDR...No way this show continues much longer. Hey if they win they jump to 9th! Ha! lets be honest the Tpups and Suns are not that good and falling back to earth.

Derrick White will start at point guard tonight with Dejounte Murray sitting on the second night of a back-to-back.
I know it’s already over but this game really feels like the final straw if they lose.
