Haha the Bryn effect. Telling stats
Obviously not having Murray hurts, but Pop has to do better with his lineups if the Spurs want to survive the rematch. These stats were from Tom Petrini: https://mobile.twitter.com/RealTomPe...76156039417856

He had 2/3 of Mills/Forbes/Beli in for what seemed like the majority of the game. None were hitting shots.
A truly embarrassing performance. Not that we should've expected to beat one of the best teams in the league at home, but spotting them ~20 points with coaching is what really gets me.

Pop just can't get away from his pets. He'd rather die with "veterans" who are literally the worst players in the nba than playing a rookie who's bigger stronger faster probably a better shooter as well just cause they know where to stand in his "offense"
lol
spot on
Yep. Pop has always relied on veterans over youthful players... Only now the Spurs have transitioned from HoF, championship level vets, to the bottom of the league barrel. And DeMarre is supposedly so much worse than them that he doesn't even get minutes...?
I love the cryptic style of your posts. Always looks like you're trying to spill the beans, with a gun held against your back, so you can't be too obvious about it. In any case, I agree... It seems like Pop and RC have somewhat of a divide over which players they're high on. Anytime I hear praise for Forbes it's usually coming from Pop, and any time I hear praise for Lonnie, it's not coming from Pop. Hopefully Pop retires before sinking the ship further with his favoritism.
