We all know it is about appearances. Twitter Qhris is gonna be right up front. Hope he gets sneezed on.
As I recall Chris doesn't believe going to church is required to be a Christian because YouTube told him so.

If he knows what gloves are for, absolutely. No doubt whatsoever.
Wouldn't be surprised.
Trump apologist says escorts bad now.
What percentage is "many"?
It’s probably similar to the percentage of people who switched from Bernie to Trump. You hear about the “many” that did, but still refuse to believe a human being is that re ed. Then a certain special person comes around and shows us all that it’s true.
You guys are hilarious. All this hoopla about going to church because it IS CHURCH. There would not be similar outrage if people were social distancing while jogging on the sidewalk, biking in a park or journalists in a press conference but because it's CHURCH...
My point to SR21 was the assumption of a mostly city/suburb dweller that one must go to a supermarket to get food - similar to city/rural politics.
The churches I've seen haven't been distancing. What about that?
Your point was stupid, just like you. I sincerely hope someone coughs in your face at your Easter service.
I think it's hypocritical and ungrateful to hail essential workers as heroes for feeding and caring for us during a.deadly pandemic, but then to say, you still deserve pay in normal times, when we rely on their work no less.
The church is the congregation. Congregations congregate. Where two are more are gathered in my name, there will I be, in the midst.... Dude set it up from the start. CIAGod tbh
But then everyone gets to make special exceptions to the rule. We can open all the stores and restaurants as long as we socially distance... No.
Sorry, but religious folk don't get exemptions to endanger the rest. They are still part of society, and the "church" sure takes advantage of that tax exemption. We cannot have elective surgeries but religious folks can gather in buildings and pretend they are socially distancing? The rule is shelter in place/at home. It's not social distancing.
What do you plan on doing about it?
Not sure, I was just having a chat with Blake. If Bernie Sanders -- or anyone else wishing to mark dignified work with adequate pay were in the picture -- I would vote for them. I also seek to persuade others casually, as you can see here.
What do you plan to do about it?
(In b4 nothing at all)
The medical field pays pretty well. It pays a of a lot better than soldiering does, and both are volunteer jobs. I've not seen many here want to call soldiers heroes, and not seen many think they deserve higher pay.
in before weekend numbers are lower, then monday comes around..
Labor is underrepresented among the various trades and in corporate governance. Labor is a stakeholder that deserves a seat at the table. Billionaires and capital improvements can't make money all on their own.
GHWB referred to them as CFUs (cannon fodder units) as president, but he was one himself. Weird masochism there.
Haven't you heard of the miraculous trickle down yet? It like overflows, and lifts all boats and .
The top 0.1% screwed us before the 2008 financial panic, they screwed us in the bailout, they screwed us in the meantime, and now they're getting ready to screw us as never before, with the full cognizance and assistance of the USG.
"Billionaires and capital improvements can't make money all on their own."
the financialization of the economy means that Capitalists can make more money, better ROI with money, than with things.
Labor is THE enemy for Capital, and Capital has won the War on Labor over the last 40-45 years.
Labor "a seat at the table"?
Labor can't even get on the payroll,
have been are constantly pushed into gig working,
into self-employed independent contracting,
outsourced to hole countries,
replaced by cheap Indian imports,
denied class action suits by SCOTUS s,
forced into kangaroo courts of forced arbitration,
denied a living minimum wage,
fired for saying "union",
fired for organizing a protest about covid-19 risks in amazon warehouses, etc.
Labor "a seat at the table"?
Capital has no obligation to Labor, to society, to any nation.
