And monkeys might fly out of my urethra.
I predict that Tech fans are going to do something incredibly stupid.
If Torbush is somehow crushed in a tragic bus accident and RC Slo drives overnight to make it to Lubbock to act as the defensive coordinator, Ags might have a shot.
they have a chance
if hodges plays like he did for the first 3 quarters against baylor and the a&m offense has a few big plays
hodges should throw for at least a TexasStateQBlike 400 yds, closer to 600 yds
This is like than time CBF admitted to me he didnt want to go to boystown because he was scared
and then i was silent

I borrowed this from an Aggie message board, pretty creative and creepy:
The dusty plains of West Texas are a virtual on earth where only the fiercest and most desperate souls can survive. Anyone unlucky enough to find themselves in such desolation is rarely there by choice. You go to LA. You go to New York City or San Francisco but as they say, “West Texas isn’t a place you go. West Texas is a place you END UP.”
And that tends to be the story with most of the football players at Texas Tech University. Few of them wanted to come to Tech as their first choice. They wanted to go to the glamour schools in the glamour cities across the country but for whatever reason, they just weren’t quite good enough. So what happens to them? They END UP at Texas Tech.
And then what? Do they wither and die like so much corn on the sun scorched plains? No!!! The earth hardens them. They grow bitter at an outside world that grows fat and complacent with temperate climates and plenty of water. That bitterness burns inside them and forges their souls into those of a thousand demons raised in !!!
And what happens when these desert-hardened spawn meet other namby-pamby schools on the field of battle? They strike fear into these girly-men, softened up by the easy living in the suburbs. And what happens when they sense this fear? They strike!!! They maim!!! They kill!!!
That is what Texas Tech Red Raider football is made of.
That is what Coach Fran and his noble Men of Kyle are up against this Saturday night.
God go with them.
I would give my lock of the year for the ags to cover but I did that the other week and they beat Kstate by 2 points
the aggies seem to have a recent reputation of lacking guts, almost being gutless
Classic!
Poorly coached maybe, but gutless is a huge stretch. I haven't seen players giving up, I've just seen them play bad fundamental football. Huge cushions on receivers, overthrowing the ball by ten yards, and bad play-calling can't really be attributed to being "gutless". Blame Franchione, blame Koening, blame Torbush, blame Byrne for hiring them; it's not the players.
And I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if the Ags cover. Did you mean tceh's a lock to cover?
I predict that Tech fans are going to do something incredibly stupid.true!
I have yet to see a coach of any team play a single down in college or pro football. The players should have enough self-respect to pull out wins despite what the coach says or does.
I'm sure others will disagree & I only ask to 1st name a Div I game this year or last where the coach played a single down.
If the players can win without a coach, why have one? Why pay coaches two million a year if it's only the players responsible for winning the games?
Here's a random idea, maybe it's hard to be successful when the coach calls bad plays. Or should the players have enough "self-respect" to ignore play-calling?
So which game was won by a coach actually playing in the past yr? 2 yrs? 5yrs? 10yrs? etc...
I think Vince Gill is going to show the aggies no mercy.![]()
no, but atm fans don't do anything stupid, like punch there own fans![]()
Our coaching staff and schemes suck.
Tech covers the 16 point spread going away, 63-28.
