Tammany Hall lives on in CA Democrats. Alas, that is how the game is played tho.
Personally, I don't care, everyone can use a little something extra, illegal or not, if they are contributing positively and $125 million isn't , so long as it comes from all the surplus taxes they're hoarding.
They've done well in managing the issues here during Rona, especially where they are packed in like the Bay area, complete opposite of New York and their negligence, so I'm proud of them, and the majority of the residents here at the moment.
Another positive effect that could come from this is people start spreading the out and we can possibly revitalize older, decaying parts of the country.
Unsure if the status-symbol people will change and abandon living in over-populated metropolises, all packed in where it's just a ticking time bomb when disasters happen. NYC is micro-Italy.
