Older immigrants tend to dislike any position that is lax on illegal immigration because older immigrants feel they immigrated "the right way." Thing is, legal immigration status was MUCH easier to come by in the good old days. All my ancestors had to do was take a in' test and that was it. they trying to stop or decrease the transmit numbers, thats what australia is doing...as long u decrease the new cases, the existing cases u hope ppl either recover or no need to get into icu = death...
