Chump: what grade would you give Beno's performance tonight?
to welcome you to Austin.
Perhaps you can find your handle again and beat out Derek Zimmerman.
Chump: what grade would you give Beno's performance tonight?
I give it a -2.5/1000000000000000000000000000000000000
God, I love Beno sometimes, but I hate him as a point guard.
He had that one good assist to Duncan -- that required no dribbling. He simply couldn't handle the ball otherwise. I don't really like giving grades for only four minutes of play, but he demonstrated nothing of the moment's notice play that is required of him this season.
Manny has 12.5 Vbookie G's, wtf
I gotta start catchin up
trade him to lakers for smush parker, and i better go change my nick on realgm if his goin to be traded hahaha
Beno keeps that up he will definetely be history in the offseason. Pop won't keep that around, TO's and bad ball handling make him wet his pants.
BENO SUCKS..
He looses the ball everthime he tries to do that behind the back dribble...Beno, if you cant do it, dont try...
Beno > Harris
Career high stats wise.

Beno is still having nightmares of Lindsey Hunter.
Him bringing the ball up in the closing seconds of a quarter is a guaranteed turnover.
Thank god for Nickey Van Excellent.
Except on defense.Thank god for Nickey Van Excellent.
The thing is, it seems we can't use Van X against quicker point guards. Which sucks.
Yeppers.
Him against a Damon Stoudamire, Gary Payton, Eric Snow, Andre Miller, Steve Nash is fine.
Him against a Shaun Livingston, Chris Paul not so fine.
Beno can't guard quick guards either. Nickolaus Van Exquisite can at least be physical with them.
But Nick Van Exel has had his own share of ball handling and turnover problems in this short season. I hope that turns around, but the play at the pg spot off the bench has been really subpar so far.
Nicholatas Van Extroidanary will be the answer.

I liked Beno's shot at times during games last season; however, after seeing him play this season and hearing about some of his pre-season exploits, I do not see this guy helping the Spurs now. Especially now that the word is out about him being too fragile to handle defensive pressure. His is a turnover in the making every time he touches the ball, . . . literally.[/U]
It is obvious to me that Beno's confidence is crushed. First his shaky play against Detroit. Then Spurs getting NVE as first backup. I think he needs heavy minutes of garbage time to help his confidence.
yes van exel a PG withou asists![]()
He is great.
And Beno 4:18 min this is a lot of time![]()

Beno should play more minutes, not 3-4 a game, that is nothing. That is just bad for him...
Were you able to watch the game? He can't even dribble anymore.
let barry run point off the bench first, please.barry, manu, horry, duncan and tp has always been one of our best offensive lineups, especially for passing and tempo. umm, not always, but last season.
Beno looked horribly shaky out there last night. His confidence seems shot. That being said, Van Exel was ok but he still makes some very poor decisions with the ball and can't play a lick of defense against quick pgs. Pop better learn when to use him because hanging him out to dry last night against Harris was painful to watch.
Great. We have two backup points. One can't dribble, and the other makes weak passes and can't defend.
