I don't think so. This is a lot like his coming-out game against Phoenix (see sig). If he does this a lot more consistently then maybe he will, but not with one game.

He will be Dallas' starting PG by the end of the year.

Beno for Harris! I would love him in a Spur's Uni!!!
Harris will be a star!
The funny thing... Beno's career high numbers are better than tonights career high game by Devin.
I guess Beno is our starter by years end... huh?
How so?
Harris is their best PG.
Beno isnt our best PG.
Thats the diff.
Harris still sucks.
He's Leandro Barbosa but slower and with a worse shot.

It was a satirical joke.
Let me explain, you used one game where a player gets career high numbers to then predict a promotion.
Beno last year had a career high game of 25 when he started.
I guess Beno is going to be our new starter by years end.
Beno had a better career high game.
My post was a joke to counteract your dumb statement.
Actually, I have been saying that since last year. I think Harris is their best PG. I have been saying it for a while.
Jason Terry will start the whole season.
Terry is better suited to play the two.
You take being a Badger fan too seriously..
Your overly obsessed with Wisconsin![]()
Nah. Just messin around with you Texans.
Although in all honesty, I think Harris could be very very good in the NBA.
No way, your not. I swear, like in every thread it is something about an Wisconsin player![]()
Not every thread.![]()
Okay, well every other thread?
Devin Harris is definitely staying a backup because Terry is more consistent and one of the best shooters in the league. Harris is a better spark off the bench also.
Harris is overrated and will never amount to being anything more that a strong backup/weak starter type of PG.
I don't think theres anyway he develops to the level a no5 pick should play at.
Also I think Terry is the far better player of the two and he has played very well for Dallas, shooting a ridiculous percentage of jumpers and dishing it out pretty well. Now that his got people worth passing too he has shown that he can do more than just score ala his Atlanta days.
Although, I must mention he played a very good game, i'll give you that Dre
Harris has no chance of winning the starting job over Terry. (barring injury)
Harris just took advantage of some damn lousy interior Defense tonight. We made him look like a superstar.
He's on my fantasy so my rage is somewhat satiated.
