I don't think SVG will last the season, but not necessarily because of Peyton. Guess what GM is in the background and wants the job--but now he'll certainly wait to pull the plug until Shaq gets back. On the point of Peyton, however, some players don't think ANY coach who hasn't been an NBA player is worthy of being a coach. And there is some resentment that ex-players are on the sidelines waiting while non-NBA players continue to get coaching jobs.

I don't think Miami can trade Payton. At this stage in his career, and considering that the cir stances will be to get rid of a cancer in the locker room; Miami is stuck with him.
Chances are remote for the Spurs to obtain Artest. That simply won't happen.
