Nah. The Spurs need to stick to legit centers and mobile PFs who can hit threes and defend.
What do you guys think about Kenneth Faried as an energy guy off the bench? Averaged 13 points and 8 boards with Houston last year.
He can be effective in the pick and roll with Murray/White as a rim runner.

We do need a rim runner tho. Someone to keep up with the youngsters bc Poetl is too soft to be that and LMA just jogs up and down. I would love for Eubanks to be that player but I’m not sure what role Pop has for him going forward (if any)
Eubanks would probably average 13/8 playing next to Harden tbh. Spurs need to focus on other areas before worrying about energy bigs, especially undersized ones like Faried. Eubanks can fill that role already
Rim runner only offensive players are not highly sought after in today’s nba. Your shooting ability determines your value and your playing time.
garbage
maybe a few years ago...not now
He's been done for at least three years.
What year is this?
If we still had Tim Duncan, Faried could be a Malik Rose type backup. Problem is we don't have Tim Duncan anymore. Oh, and the league has changed a lot since Malik's days in SA.
So, probably not.
Did I wake up in 2015?
honestly, he did show flashes of mobility with houston.
iirc, he wasn't getting minutes towards the end of the stint.
He still can't shoot or defend. You'll play 4-on-5 on both ends when he's out there.
Faried at this point strikes me as another Carroll....and we saw how that worked out.
Blows my mind that Carroll is still getting paid by the Spurs to sit on the bench in Houston (So far has played 2 minutes in 1 game in the playoffs.)
Well, he kind of got bent over by Keldon, so his lack of PT isn’t really a surprise.
