Wizards: Butler expects to return Wednesday

Wizards forward Caron Butler said he expects to return after missing the last two games with a left thigh bruise, according to the Washington Post. Butler was limited in practice Monday but said he plans on playing Wednesday.

Butler will likely fall into a rotation that includes Jared Jefferies and Jarvis Hayes. It'll be interesting to see how coach Eddie Jordan splits their minutes. Butler came off the bench to score 11 points with seven boards in 29 minutes in his only game played this year.
