I think so too, but it's not the Spurs fault he left.

No he won't No one puts James Worthy up there with Jordan or LeBron. He wouldn't even be ahead of Larry Legend or Magic

Never really understood the spurs F.O. bashing over Kawhi. He wanted a larger market...probably wanted a coastline like all these other spoiled brat athletes. The spurs could not help him with either of those things. What were they supposed to do?

needs some MVPs, stats and longevity to go with it. neither of his championships are remotely close to being as impressive as anything bron or mike did, when he was the 4th option on the team his first championship, and needed two of GS top three players to be hurt to win the second

    completely stupid take

He weaseled out and quit the last three years (counting the year still on his contract).

The thing about Kawhi is, he has no weaknesses. You really can't point to any aspect of his game and say, "He needs to improve on that." He does everything well.

The most his critics can say is, "Yeah but his accomplishments aren't that impressive." But you can't say anything bad about his actual skills

^I'd still argue he has limited gravity with his predominantly ISO play. He's obviously improved his play as a PnR passer, but doesn't have command of the entire floor like LeBron or Luka does. Thank God we didn't take Tobias & 2 1sts!

Agreed. His playmaking has gotten better since he left the Spurs but he will never be on the level of Lebron or Luka when it comes to that department. His leadership skills are also garbage granted he still won last year despite not being a good leader.

still a mediocre ball handler, mediocre vision, average passer at best. can't run a half court offense worth a crap.

he's an iso scorer. a fantastic one though.

    Few thoughts. Grab your chicken.

    - Vince and Barkley agreeing is good for NBA media

    - Leonard passing James and MJ etc. I think he would enter the discussion with #3

    - Spurs losing Leonard wasn't shocking for me. I've seen sports in San Diego.
