Emmanuel Ginobili: Thigh Bruise Still a Concern

    RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
    Wednesday, November 9, 2005
Update: Ginobili continues to be under watch from the Spurs' coaches and trainers as he has been slow to recover from his thigh bruise, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Recommendation: Apparently coach Gregg Popovich was leaning towards giving Manu a couple days off, as his leg had not improved much over the past couple days. Popovich said, "We'll just respect his decision to play, but if we don't like what we'll see, we'll sit him down."

I am really surprised he hasn't benched him.

It seems like this particular injury happens to Manu a lot. He should just wear those thigh pad shorts all of the time as a preventive measure.

He really can't, with Barry unavailable with back spasms. That would leave Bowen and Fin to man the swing spots for 48 minutes each.
