Guess we will get to see an interesting Cons utional question go to SCOTUS this year. Can the President self-pardon?

(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump has prepared a sweeping list of individuals he’s hoping to pardon in the final days of his administration that includes senior White House officials, family members, prominent rappers -- and possibly himself, according to people familiar with the matter.

Trump is hoping to announce the pardons on Jan. 19 -- his final full day in office -- and his ideas are currently being vetted by senior advisers and the White House counsel’s office, the people said.

Biden should just un-pardon him tbh. Unprecedented response to an unprecedented pardon, see how it holds up in court imho

I cannot see any SCOTUS saying that self-pardoning is cons utional.

I would say it more likely than not he will do it, and if that is the case it will absolutely go to SCOTUS and will almost certainly be overturned.

It will be the final stain on the soiled underwear of his presidency.

that would probably be akin to a bill of attainder, which would be uncons utional
