Decided to go back to this well; and there's no real thread for this to bump.
Since this was before streaming, I certainly missed a number of episodes.
So, it'll be fun to watch it more thoroughly than before.
And I don't even recall for sure if I caught the last episode or not.
It's definitely a high quality show; not regretting going back.
Currently, I'm 13 episodes in. One from finishing the first season.

The final season of X-Files was pretty goos as well. except the last episode, what a let down
The final season with Mulder? Cos they apparently made a couple more seasons without him as a main character about a decade plus later.
They released 2 new seasons between 2016 and 2018 with the big 3 (Mulder, Scully and Skinner)

It was a clip from Season 10 (of 11) that reignited my interest.
Without spoiling it, the last 2 seasons have a bit oeverything X FIles : Alien conspiracy or the classic weird freak of the week episode

I can't speak to this person you speak of. But for me, it's worth watching a high quality show for which I maybe caught approximately half of the episodes in the past.

I can't believe they thought it was a good idea to do a "The Lone Gunman" spinoff. The X-Files is great but that spinoff didn't need to happen.
