The Dems know this is political suicide, right? For the same reason the GOP never makes a concerted attempt to overturn Roe V. Wade even with a 6-3 majority.

VA has a ton of "on the fence" libertarian stoners, sort of like Michigan... i'd expect VA to go back from the deep blue column to the sky blue/gray in '24

    political suicide
That's the point. I'd say the figure is closer to 80%. There are more stoners than ever before, and also more occasional users. And more than half are against abortion rights or at the very least, government/taxpayer/publicly funded abortions.

It's political suicide because when, inevitably, marijuana is legalized either in all 48 states or at the federal level, then it will no longer be a tipping point item to swing voters on the fence. The Dems will have one of their last items with bi-partisan support to run on. Gay marriage in 2015 was another one, and it's almost criminal that it got fully legalized federally before full recreational marijuana legalization, since it's far less controversial. Even most religious people don't care if people smoke pot.

If the main selling points are narrowed down to "tax da rich" and "fight teh global warming" then the left is screwed. Especially since the GOP is no longer the pro-war party.

What swings voters on the fence is usually the candidates.

    Desperate for tax revenue
IDK, Virginia's state income tax is pretty high (~6%), they also have sales tax and property tax, though the property tax rate ranges from well below average in the crappy rural parts to above average in the DC suburbs and Richmond area. I guess the state is losing tax revenue from their famous tobacco industry and has to make up for it somehow.

I am way over weighted in Cresco (because of their wholesale emphasis) with Cura as my second largest. then in Jushi, Harvest and RWB. I keep looking at others every time I load more powder but always go back to Cresco.

Why waste time with seeds and the grunt work of getting rooted females? Just grab clones from legit growers.
