LeBron Killer gonna dive into the bench and injure Dieng's other shoulder.
My money's on Okungwu.
Analytics people say 3-point shooting defense is largely luck based/random, but for a team with clearly upgraded defensive personnel from recent years, I wonder if their relative lack of athleticism and length has played a part in their continuing to get destroyed from 3.
i joke alot about how the spurs have a tendency to make all-stars out of scrubs but the real stat to look at is how the stars perform. if the spurs let some scrub go off but hold the stars below their averages, then that's a win. but if scrubs and stars go off, that's an embarrassment.
That's probably a part of it. And the fact the Spurs always have some bum on D like Patty or Demar causing someone to always be late rotating. I also think they don't communicate as well on D as they should as every night we see a few bad miscommunications where guys are getting wide open dunks. Spurs have guys that either good at individual defense or team defense and not many of both. And a couple players that are just trash![]()
