Upsides:

Downsides:
-Co workers.
-System could be better.
-Some of the things I see.
Upside:
- I work outside at times.
- Get to meet famous people.
- Great pay.
- Flexible hours.
Downside:
- I work outside at times.
- Having to deal with drunks saying, "There's no liquor in my drink" in front of their kids.
- I wear a lime green shirt to work.
- Getting like ice for a 16 year kid trying to get laid by impressing his girl on a date.

Upsides
-I have nothing to do and my direct supervisor doesn't give a if I sur the internet all day as long as my projects are done promptly with my usual high standards of quality.
-I get to commute with my husband every day. (this won't last beyond the end of the semester, I fear)
-I can take a two hour lunch at my desk.
-I do occasionally get to help someone in a meaningful way.
-I'm good at the stuff I do.
-I can wear jeans whenever I want.
-My direct supervisor loves me.
-Working for the state means lots of paid holidays.
Downsides
-I am bored nearly to tears.
-My high-up bosses don't have the first clue what I do, and think of me as scenary.
-My high-up bosses are so out of touch with everything that happens and consistently change things around at the last minute and it's frustrating as trying to do anything positive for this place because they don't think it needs to be done.
-Between coworkers (ok, just one) looking over my shoulder everyday (because she's pissed off that I'm 100x more efficient than she is and I *can* surf the net all day and get my projects done on time and well), my bosses making a weeks worth of hard work irrelevant, the y ass students who feel en led and who I want to kick in the face for being rude when you are doing them a ing favor, I want to cry on Sundays that I have to go back the next day and be there for five days in a row.
-I hate my job with a passion, because I'm bored everyday, there are no other projects to do and I can't move anywhere or make anymore money without killing a coworker and moving into their position (which I don't want anyway).
-I work here because the college did great things for me as a student, and I wanted to give back, and all I am now is jaded, frustrated, bitter and hurt.

Exactly.
upsides:
I get to take the ball out every 3 hours
I get to wear a shiny new leather suit
I get my picture taken every day with Polish Women
I get to say LUBE IT UP every few hours.
Downsides:
The leather chafes
Interpol is investigating me
Sometimes all the straw gives me a rash.
I get paid in Pesos.
GIG's job has a great advantage...girls and this.
For my job: upside/ downside= so close and yet so far from my Rasho. =)
Upside:
Lots of travel on the company dime
More free perks from travel than I know what to do with (Rapid Rewards, Free Hotel Nights, Free Car rentals, etc.).
Get to do and see a lot
3.5 weeks vacation per year
Downsides:
Deal exclusively with government, and have to deal with all the bull politics
No eye candy when I'm in the office
Not much of a social life a lot of the time
Far from SA and the Spurs, surrounded by Mavs fans
Upside:

I have to drive half an hour to get there.
The people pretty much suck. Not a day goes by that two people aren't arguing.
The hours are terrible.
