Godfather I
and the best parts of Godfather part II came from the book anyways....alot of people love the 2nd part more, but I like you M like the first one better.
Godfather
Godfather II
Godfather III
Personally, I think the first Godfather cannot be ed with. Jesus himself couldn't make a better flick. Godfather II is a great movie but nothing like the original. Any thoughts??

the original.
Never seen any of these.
I thought I was the only one.
I loved the first two and I was so disappointed when I really hated the third one.
I haven't either. Seen bits and peices but never from start to finish.
The first one hands down. You can't with Marlon Brando!
My feeling exactly! If I must choose then number 1 gets my vote.
#3 sucked so bad i wanted to cry.
#1 was awesome... but i voted #2 because i liked the story development better.
Godfather part 2 is better than part one, michael comes into power, and has everybody killed even his older brother. Besides Sonny gets killed in part one and that aint right
I like part I the best but part II is a close second because of the story line.
I like Part II the most.
I thought 3 was decent, but Sofia Coppola was awful. Good story/idea, poor execution at times.
The Godfather was great, showing the "passing of the guard" from one generation to the other. II was also good, with the background info and the shift to new business.
I haven't ever seen III, I'm told it's in my best interests not to.
Haven't seen any of them.
I've seen some of them but never watched it all.
Sofia Coppola made a good decision going with directing instead of acting.
GFII was a better, and much more ambitous, film.
But GFI stands on its own; whereas to really appreciate II you have to have seen I.
The first one is the best, but number two isn't that far behind. Both are terrific!
#3 was painful.
