They will win the football championship when they demolish USC in Jan.
They are #2 in the nation in basketball.
They might actually win the Sears Cup this year for most successful overall sports program, despite competing in a lot fewer women's and men's sports than most of the perennial winners of that Cup(Stanford, UCLA)

Maybe an age thing, maybe a subconcious effort to suppress those memories. Hopefully their won't be a lot of effort to forget Fran in the upcoming years.
