Of course they are.
This country is in big trouble if we don't get our spending under control.
The largest expense today is MEDICARE (OLD PEOPLE) because they are the ones who vote and get everything they want.
So of course a bill passes to cut programs to the poor, students, and farmers. What the heck they don't vote.

It's ed up but that makes total political sense. If you had a job with two bosses and they both gave you job to do, but you knew that one of them was probably going to forget about it and the other would hold you accountable, which would you do?
