Eagles LB Trotter would welcome back T.O.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter said this week he would welcome embattled receiver Terrell Owens back to the team with open arms.
"We would love to have T.O. back, we would love to have him back because we love what he brings to the team," Trotter said in an interview Thursday on ESPN's Cold Pizza morning show. "It would definitely make us a better team."
Eagles coach Andy Reid suspended Owens last week for a series of incidents that included public criticism of the organization and quarterback Donovan McNabb. Following his suspension, Owens would be deactivated for the rest of the season.

The team has not softened its stance despite losses to the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys since the suspension took effect. Owens has appealed and a hearing before an arbiter is scheduled for Friday in Philadelphia.
Trotter, who left Philadelphia after the 2001 season following a bitter contract dispute to sign with the Washington Redskins only to return three years later, voiced similar opinions earlier this week during a radio appearance on WIP-AM.
Trotter said Thursday he felt Owens could make amends with coach Andy Reid, but it would require the petulant Pro Bowler to come back with a firm understanding that he respect the coach's authority.
"Andy loves T.O.," Trotter said. "But, you know, as a head coach, you've got so many things to worry about, the last thing you want to worry about is outside distractions other than coaching the football team."

Nah I have a feeling next year will be a lot better, defense will be healthy, I'm sure we will use this rounds pick to get a good DE, we will sign a vet wideout and something on the O-line Keep in mind the Eagles have had the highest win % since 2000, and this year it took injured QB,WR,DE,ect and T.O drama to bring it down, we will be back next year.

How many QB's can you name that haven't choked at one point or another, well maybe other then Brady.Defense wins championships look at the Ravens, if you look at some of the stats of superbowl champs most of them had atleast top 9 ranked defenses, the few I remember that didn't that won was the 98' broncos and the 01' pats, but they had good D's too much is put on McNabb and he is still a stop 5 QB and the best in the NFC east.

lots of quarterbacks play bad in a must win game once in a blue moon but NOT EVERYONE !
He doesn't always choke it's not just him, the nfc championships you can blame on the rest of the team just as much or even the poor coaching job by Reid, Look who he's had at wideout until last year, Na brown,Small,Thrash,Pinkston, ect last year he get's T.O. and the Eagles come out blazing get to the superbowl without T.O. and losing by 3 points doesn't = choke in the superbowl when he through 3 picks, yes has he had bad games at times yes he has, but headcoach would take him outside of Brady or Manning over any QB in the NFL.
