Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Spurs are pretty close to being capped out...No? Either way, Wallace will remain a Piston untill he retires....bank on it.

Yeah since it looks like Detroit doesn't want to keep him I think that would be a good addition. A lineup of
    C B. Wallace
    PF T. Duncan
    SF B. Bowen
    SG M. Ginobili
PG T. Parker wouldn't be bad.

Wallace will be far too expensive for a team at or over the tax level. He ain't gettin' any younger, either, which is never a good thing for a player who's game is predicated on athletic ability.

What..... The..... F*ck??? You are high if you think the Pistons don't want to keep him. The Pistons have stated their intentions (they will give him whatever it takes), and Ben has stated his intentions (he said himself he will retire from the game the day the Pistons don't need him)

And what are the Spurs gonna get him with, the MLE?

He may be 31, but that number is deceiving. First, because he keeps in the best shape of any player in the game. The guy is a gym rat. 2nd, he has only been playing starter minutes for 5 years. Check this out, for instance:

    Name: Career Minutes (Age)
    Ben Wallace: 19,082 (31)
    Kevin Garnett: 29,991 (29)
    Kobe Bryant: 22,330 (27)
    Tim Duncan: 22,771 (29)

*Doesn't include playoff minutes. KG is the only guy on there with less playoff minutes than Ben.

So, while he maybe be older in years, he still has quite a bit less miles on his body than a guy like Kobe Bryant, who is only 27.
