it's called coaching.. Gruden said the guy had highschool footwork coming into the league. Vince is talented enough to overcome the crappy coaching.

he left texas as the greatest Texas QB of all time
TD passes and Winning games
everyone knew he had trouble in big games
I was his public defender for 3 years
No where close to the greatest QB of all time. The honor easily goes to Huston Street. Greatness is measured in Championship not TD passes against the likes of Baylor and Louisiana-Lafayette.
sorry dude
I never saw James Street or Texas win any national le
and I was 1 in 1983
major was better I think but if you go by WINNING games and TD passes, Simms was the best when he left
im not proud of him or gloating but its a fact
Greatest single college football play ever.
No way.
Is this the Simms that Arkansas rattled the out of in the Cotton bowl?
Aheh.
It was if you sat on the same sideline as me...
So if you never saw someone play they can't be considered the best? What kinda of logic is that?
Judging who was a player solely by the stats they put up is ridiculous. Otherwise we would have to consider Ron Dayne and Ty Detmer the best RB and QB of all-time. Guys were obviously products of the system.
I think we should measure the best by hardware, Major at least had a conference championship to his name not to mention a victory over Oklahoma.
