I know Vegas currently has the over/under for our win total set at 28.5, but anyone who seriously follows this team knows it’s a safe bet to take the over.
A more ambitious goal is to reach 40 wins for the season. Can the Spurs do it? FiveThirtyEight projects the team to win 39 games this year, which, assuming reasonably good health, may not be a stretch in my opinion.

I'd take the under on 28.5 wins tbh. They don't have a settled offense and have too many poor wing defenders - Johnson, Walker, Forbes and McD will get plenty of minutes and fail to prevent a traffic cone from going past them.

I think the team will flirt with .500 for a while but not make the mark. 34 to 37 wins.
~30, tbh.
40 wins would take Murray having an allstar season
41 wins in the East.

Yes i believe they can and will. I think defense will improve enough to get us 40 wins.
But i'm always an overly optimistic guy.
If we combine the next two seasons then yes. This season we will be at 28 wins

40 is the really optimistic part of the Spurs potential this next season. I don't think their chances are very high of reaching 40 wins. Maybe 10-20% at best. Even if they have a player take a leap, that is still asking a lot, IMO. Its going to take improvement from DJM, DW, and KJ and one will have to be at all star levels to reach that, IMO. Its definitely possible, but I think that's likely about 5-7 more games than this team wins.
Lol no. 25 will be an achievement. Coaching a 20 win team will be the best thing a lame-duck Coach Pop could do for this organization.

It’s going to be a real ugly season I think White will continue to miss games due to feet/ankle issues probably miss 15 to 25 games this season. Also, Walker was not offered a contract so I see Walker either trying Hero ball to get contract or going into a s and doing a Luka - F Pop. Either way I think we might win 27 games but Pop is going to have to work as I can easily see this team quitting on him when things go South
Homers on Twitter really think they are winning 40+ Games this season. They are not winning more than 30.
