Are the Marlins getting rid of all of their talent purposefully? I guess they are trying to drive down the attendance to get out of Miami.
WSCR 670 in Chicago is reporting that the Cubs are close to acquiring Juan Pierre from the Marlins for three prospects.

this is reminiscent of the old days when the marlins stacked up on young talent
if they can get some good revenue they should be a force in 3 or 4 years
