Well, she's dead, so democracy saved.
it's not, I was addressing DMC's implied comparison, which he didn't deny.
Well, she's dead, so democracy saved.
Ashli Babbitt was an Air Force Senior Security officer in Iraq. Trained security officers in a war zone. She knew what might happen.
She was maybe even counting on it.
once again I'm not talking about Rosenbaum
DarrinS: Are you familiar btw with the concurrent scheme to overturn the election procedurally the same day? the riot was ginned up to put pressure on squishy Republicans and delay certification.
There's a reason few Americans were aware what happens on Jan 6th before this year. That reason is that the ministerial duty to certify electoral college tallies -- after the 1876 show -- has been a norm for 145 years.
Trump broke that norm. He tried to overturn an election to continue in office after he lost.
If there was such a scheme, I hope it wasn't led by someone in a Viking helmet.
it was led by the White House, you've not been paying careful attention.
The calls to Rusty Bowers to appoint alternate electors, the call to Brad Raffensperger to find more votes, the attempt to suborn DOJ officials to declare fraud, the pleas to DOD to confiscate voting machines, 59 completely frivolous election challenges, the Capitol riot, the post-inauguration demands for forensic audits...
Have you been asleep this whole time?
you tagging everyone living rent free in your head? i don't even know what this thread is about and if my life depended on knowing you lie politically then i'd be dead.
The Eastman memo, the pressure on county officials not to certify, if Obama had done even one of these things you'd all be screaming from the rooftops
Thanks brah
Apart from a straight up military coup, what could be more straightforward attempt to wreck democracy?
isnt having 85k+ posts on a basketball posting forum running in circles lifewise a bit?
hmm, not really. This is a gross oversimplification.
And Kyle shot him dead without knowing his past.
So you're saying El Nono has no life?
Not at all. In both instances someone is shot, both people are unarmed, both were shot by officers. The difference is the woman was only attacking a building while the man was attacking an officer. So Kyle defending his own life is less justified than an officer using deadly force to protect a window.
And yes, a simple browse on this forum will quickly show how the opinions are divided by political stance, and justice for many here is outcome based, not due process based. The founders knew this (imagine how biased people were that long ago) and built the legal system to account for it.
Not particularly. I didn't think Kyle would ever be convicted for murder nor should he have been under white male fear laws.
are you trying to be stupid?
You come off as such a whiney bro. WhineHo
How many posts do you have collectively between all your alts?
Boohoo you ing ass!
Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.
No, actually that's not the only difference. Context matters, and so does the justification of using deadly force. This is actually crucial in criminal cases.
Under your premise there's no difference between Amber Guyger and Rusten Sheskey, but we all know there is.
You do get a 6/10 score for the fishing expedition on both "the woman was only attacking a building" and "officer using deadly force to protect a window" though.
Again, I think that's a gross oversimplification. We do have a bunch of ignorable posters like boutons or Qhris spamming political gotchas about particular cases, I don't think they're the norm (thankfully) here.
If a mob surrounded DMCs group home and one of the mob broke a window and was trying to force herself inside, DMC would bend over and welcome the entry.
Got it.
ahahaha those 2 and it should've been 3 or 4 choking on dirt tbh. Rot in as well as all you apologists too!
