No one is trading for Westbrook without a ton of sugar. And the Lakers have nothing sweet to offer.
Anyway, RW ain't the problem. The problem is 1) Anthony Davis is a soft little and has always been one, and 2) lackluster roleplayers. Good roleplayers won't just lubricate things, either on offense or defense, they'll be able to take over a game or two as needed. Lakers don't have those.

When the Lakers traded for Westbrook, I knew that meant they didn’t think they could contend anymore.
That’s why you get Westbrook at this point. He’s a wildly inefficient player and is a net minus, but puts up stats that fool stupid people into thinking he’s still a star. It buys a GM a little time before the big housecleaning. Acquiring him makes it look like you’re trying, and then when things fail, he makes an easy scapegoat.
Not that Westchuck would accept it -he wouldn't.....
Could you imagine him as a 6th 7th 8th player coming off the bench for immediate offensive punch and disruption to the other teams D?
If he had a coach who would pull him ASAP if he was bricking and ballhogging.....wow he could be a game changer for contenders in this role.
I always suspected she was. She gives an air of masculinity that is up there with hanging out with one of the guys during a game. In general she is pretty masculine personality wise.
