So brought this up to my Latina. She said the goal is to look racially ambigous. Each feature is prominent in a separate race. As DMC stated, the eyes were made popular by South Koreans a couple years ago. Her point was this is also a wise move for actress and now you can be hired for a number of roles. Her example was Zendaya.
