I just posted in the AJ thread that Josh Howard had to be carried off the court with an ankle injury with just over 2 minutes left in the game. Looked bad.

There have been a lot of them, but if you think about it, it hasn't even been a month since the season started!

The only player Dallas can't play without is Josh Howard. He is the only true small forward on the team.

Newsflash - Finley is a SF. He's the same height as Bowen, and 25 lbs heavier. Judging by his ball handling, he sure isn't a guard.

I wouldn't call it an upset. Memphis has been playing well especially Gasol. He had 36 and 15. Must the beard he's growing.

With Christie gone for good, losing Howard is the equivalent of the Spurs losing Gino. He's always getting loose balls, rebounds in traffic, and he gets a lot of deflections and creates opportunities out of sheer effort.

He's been their 2nd best player this year. Very tough break for the Mavs.

It's like the spurs need anymore breaks this year. Might as well give them the championship.

What other "breaks" have the Spurs gotten.

Spurs are healthy. T-Mac is out, Amare is out, and now Howard is out. The spurs never lose anyone big. If so for a short time.

Oh, qwitcherbellyachin. Manu missed at least that much time in 2002-2003. SA still managed to win, somehow. Dallas just has to nut it up. They can let this shatter them, or forge them into something unbreakable. Losing Howard was a bad break, but it was almost offset by being rid of that unbelievable pussy, Dog Crispy.

Tim Duncan missed WEEKS last year with those ankles, and Manu was banged up, and in and out of the lineup after the AS break.
