    From the Denver Post:

"Former Nuggets forward Rodney White, a free agent, recently received interest from San Antonio and Dallas.

White was one of the Los Angeles Clippers' last cuts in training camp in favor of 7-footer Boniface Ndong, who played on the Nuggets' summer league team.

"We liked Rodney, and he played well for us," Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy said. "We had to make a decision based on our needs of an extra big man or small forward. So, we needed a big man." ... "

Wouldn't be a bad pickup, IMO. What do y'all think?

    At ude problem.......

But he is skilled, and it's a shame that he is not currently signed. Both the Spurs and Mavs would probably be very good fits for him. I would have to imagine that being hung out to dry this year, he has had somewhat of a wake-up call. If he can learn to be a team/role player, he could be a great addition. IMO his biggest problem is that his head has always been bigger than his game. He believes he should be a teams number 1 man.......and in fact, he could be if someone was able to sit him down and make him listen. He has been like a little child who already knows everything, and refuses to listen to his elders.

All that being said, both of the mentioned teams are so established w/ their players and coaching staffs, that I think he would keep his mouth shut, and accept his position as a backup/role player.

If he has realized that he needs to mature, and change what he's so far done in this league, he can be a very nice addition.

He don't pass and don't play any defense but has some potential. If Pop can do miracles, he could become the next SJax.

A guy that intrigue me is Erik Daniels who play good D and has good stats in D-League (22 pts and 10 rbds). The matter is that D-League level is very low (Pape Sow put 40 points this night).

SJax has some problems in Indiana too, he threw a punch at O'Neal during the Charlotte game. Indiania will likely try to trade him and we could get him for cheap since he has a 5 years contract and is a headcase (maybe trade Barry for him).

In any case White is a better fit than the 6'2" Scales.

Anyone knows what Spurs want to do with Scales ?
If we waive him now, he could have the shortest nba carreer with only 9 sec.

I've advocated bringing Rodney White in for a while, despite the gun charges, at ude problems, work ethic, and mohawk ... I think he'd be a good fit

Well, if he has work ethic problems, at ude problems, or issues with playing D, he'll only be here for the proverbial cup of coffee any how. WGAF? Bring him in, or don't. I don't really care.

SJax is kinda expensive, but worth it if he's willing to be in the bench for a while until Bruce looses his step -that might not happen in the near future though. He has a proven pedigree as a Spur who was willing to work on D and hitting big shots in the playoff

Dude, it's not all about you. If you go back and read, someone DID propose re-obtaining SJax.

    OO I didn't see this.

    Had?
Has now, didn't have one with the Spurs, or else Pop wouldn't have played him that much.

Id be more than happy to bring Stephen Jackson back to the SPurs.

Id be more than willing to trade Brent Barry's carcas for him,

I apologize for being so rash, I didn't read that person's posts totally.

Dallas has just signed Adrian Griffin to a non-guaranteed contract at the veteran's minimum salary.
