That is ty. He married this lady I know who lived 15 mins from me, in a small town called Runge.
Well if this is the end for Dat (and I hope it's not) I gotta say he's had a MUCH better career than most people thought he would have when he came out of college, given his size. Dude's had a good run. Just goes to show you how far brains and heart can take you.
I've got a couple of friends who went to A&M about the same time he was there and, while they weren't exactally buddies, they did know the guy. They've all said that, in addition to being one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, the dude is freaking smart. If he does have to move on he's going to be great at whatever he does...I'd love to see him coach. Sucks for the 'boys though.
