What?!!?
I don't know if this was posted while I was out. But they waived Alex Scales today.
What?!!?
Omg. There goes another future All Star!
Never saw that coming
He could say : "I have played 9 sec with Spurs"
Cheap-ass Peter Holt. Now the Suns are gonna get him.
Not to be the master of the obvious, but I suspect this means that someone else is coming in. Scales didn't fill any needs (other than the need to have another warm body available for practices with Finley and Barry dinged) . . . . but there are guys out there who do.
I don't think waiving him is much of a loss, but why exactly did they sign him?
^ Injuries to Brett and Finley.
Oh, no wait, someone claimed it was because Beno was on the way out.![]()
I am in absolute tears.
There goes the playoffs.
Oh wo'es me. Wo'es me!!
We might as well call it a season now.![]()
How much time did he get on the court anyway?
oh Oh...alert the presses! Marcus Bryant and his crew should be coming in and begin their ranting...![]()
Interesting to see if they'll sign a project of sorts. Ebi anyone?
Fear of the salary cap is now running rampant through the Spurs organization. The rest of the league will make the Spurs pay (or is that "will pay the Spurs").
We should've tried to trade him before we cut him. We could have packaged him and Rasho for Ben Wallace or Shaq.
The sarcasm meter is broken because of this thread.
Stephen A. Smith
Uncanny
Maybe now Holt will turn the A/C on when needed.
so they could fire SAS look-a-like (they can't fire the real one)![]()
