Christian Smalls, was fired two years ago for challenging the lack of COVID protocols at his warehouse. He's spent the last 2 years organizing on the street to unionize a Staten Island warehouse despite no organizing background and being shunned by supposed pro-union politicians (AOC, etc.). Amazon has invested millions of dollars in attorneys/consultants to smear him - labeling him "not smart", "inarticulate", "thug", "the perfect face of the union", yet he is on the verge of leading the first successful union vote in Amazon's history. They have a healthy lead right now and counting resumes tomorrow morning. This is a big ing deal.
