I find that very hard to believe, i think the opposite Europeans pay more taxes for national healthcare systems but that is much less than what Americans pay for private healthcare

Poland or baltic states has been giving way more aid to ukraine, compare to their gdp, but still manages to provide accessible healthcare to everyone. It is not that hard or expensive. And those ar some of poorest EU member states.
