Did you also have a stroke?

Dasha Burns backpedaling
Imagine being disliked enough to be losing against a guy who struggles to understand what he hears and to speak clearly.
I bet we already have a few hearing and vision impaired senators. Closed captioning would be a reasonable accommodation, no?
so she backpedaled... or what...
yeah, Dasha Burns is the real victim here.
it takes real courage to pick on a guy recovering from a stroke.
As an actual Pennsylvania voter, I couldn't be more disappointed in our choices this year. I'll be voting for Shapiro for gov - Mastriano is just an idiot. Want to abolish property tax, with NO suggestion of how to replace the revenue (just close all the schools?) For a state that has a demonstrable, chronic aging problem, his is the ultimate statement of that. The only people supporting this clown are over 70. He's not conservative, he's just an idiot. That said, Fetterman is a singularly unimpressive individual. Before the stroke or after, he hasn't done anything of note in his life. Raised affluent, got a great education; ran a city of UNDER 10,000 people before being elected to a largely ceremonial Lt. Governor position (where he finally made an income high enough to not be supported by Mom and Dad). If he didn't look like he does, he would never have been elected beyond mayor of Bradford. Seriously. Not a huge fan of Oz (at all) but at least dude - son of Turkish immigrants, got himself through medical school, and then heart surgeon. So, individually, he's shown more ability to get (anything) done. Also, he's already rich; maybe he will cost more to buy off? Fetterman, if he wins, will be worth $20 million by reelection time. Splitting my vote this year. BTW WH, thanks for digging up a 12 yar old post - I had forgotten about this place.
I mean we can tell you can't understand that pizza restaurant child sex dungeons don't exist and Air Fore One isn't a United Airlines Airbus and we can't even see you.
Yes, Oz got through med school. That should mean he'd recognize that abortion is a valid medical procedure and a vital component of womens' overall healthcare. Yet he decided to pander to his nutter Christian fundie base against his medical training/judgement.
That shows a dangerous lack of principles, tbh.
We've got patients in Texas being forced to carry dead fetuses that will decay and thus become a source of sepsis if they aren't promptly aborted. These patients are being held under observation until signs of liver failure or stroke are picked up by testing/monitoring. This is not only dangerous but costly for the patient and traumatic for everyone involved. I've seen some ed up in medicine, but the current situation our ob/gyns are being placed in is about the worst.
And, that's just one example of the many ways in which a pregnancy can go devastatingly wrong prompting the need for an abortion. Placental abruption, fatal chromosomal defects, fatal physical defects, fatal organ maldevelopment, terminal genetic disease.....etc etc etc. I'd hate to see this asinine practice spread to other states.
I believe Oz is a dangerous vote. I hope you might read a little more into it before actually following through because the potential for great harm is there.
Hillary lost to that guy![]()
