then sign RW after he's traded / released. manu can teach him.
• pop isn't having that on his way out
• spurs don't want a poor product while exploring other markets (austin, mexico)
• spurs are more motivated than before to win after the primo scandal
i've been wanting the spurs to tank ever since they mishandled the kawhi situation . . .
but let's mortgage the future. fück helping the lakers rid of russell so they can get hield (and/or turner). the spurs should trade for them.
a SL with hield at the 2, KJ at the 3, turner at the 5... and poeltl off the bench.
then sign RW after he's traded / released. manu can teach him.
They won't tank purposely but rather naturally which is better.
Spurs are going to lose tonight which will make them 6-10. They have gone 1-8 since the 5-2 start. It looks like the tank is going well now.
Im still not getting my hopes up but a top 5 pick would be lovely
compared to the rockets, i'd say they aren't tanking but, then again, the rockets are the all-time tank masters.
The worst in NRtg is still the Pistons.

The chart I shared was Last 10 Games Only
Sorry you had a stroke. No the spurs are not trading for any other player yet. They've been injured which could be savvy tanking or bad luck. Sorry you Can't post in other threads or make a coherent point. The spurs have been good with a full lineup, we've announced Charles bassey as the franchise heir, but thats over. We love sochan, keldon and vassell. Lukewarm on everyone else. Now your caught up. See you in two weeks
You've got to play defense to play for Pop.
As evidenced by the highest paid Spur.

I noticed it too late
OP is wrong.
projection.
the spurs record could be worse tbh. this was also posted before jakob was traded.
and this thread was me being optimistic. look at what the lakers managed to do.
this thread was never "spurs will make moves".
but i'd still take:
LOL
It takes away so much of your - already thin - credibility that you just can't admit to being wrong about anything. This thread is literally led "the spurs aren't tanking" and the Spurs have been blatantly tanking the entire season. How hard to admit can it be that you were terribly wrong?
Grow a pair and face the truth, tbh.
Id still take that top 5![]()
The Spurs really weren't tanking to start the year, when they beat the Sixers and the T-Wolves, etc., and then they shifted into this no-defense-playing state. They made a change at some point.
I think it was the Primo thing. We started the season 5-2, and win 3 was in Minny, where the last “incident” occurred. That was on Oct 26. That Sunday was win #5, and also D-Day, IIRC, when flasher boy got waived. The next game, we got blown out by Toronto 143-100, and we’ve never looked back.
the primo fallout is what informs my guess that the spurs would pass on brandon miller if he were to be available. at the very least, he'd be vetted more than an applicant to the NSA.
Them dumping White and subsequently Murray should have clued everyone in that a tank was on the horizon. Vegas had this team at what 20 or 23 wins? They think there’s a difference maker in this draft and they are going for it.
