a^2+b^2=c^2....soooo...yup its five...man where were you when i was taking the test...uhg!!
X has to be bigger than the other two sides, Isnt this called the Pythagorean Theorem?
The Pythagorean Theorem: The Hippopotomus is always bigger than his legs.
4^2+3^2=25
x^2=x^2
Therefore,
x^2=25
The square root of 25 is 5, therefore:
x=5.
But I may be wrong...I hate anything outside of addition and subtraction.
I was thinking he got the answer wrong because he circled x. It said "Find x" but it didn't say circle it.
Seriously,
Yes, 5...and SW was correct.
You all amuse me...it is obvious the person who put this up was (DUH) joking....
x=5
damn, I havent had to do that for a couple of years.
I would have paid more attention more in Algebra and pre cal classes if I would have known that I would really have to use that stuff later in life.
Desigining subwoofer enclosures is more complicated then you think!
