Feeling very fortunate with all these sneak previews at Victor we are getting this off season. With Mets92 going to the LNB Finals, each advance gifting fans with more data on him. Now Victor playing Summer League too is a bounty to those of us who can't wait till regular season to see what he can do and test his fit.
Thinking the babying Victor for health concerns is vastly overstated after watching LNB playoffs. Vic looked sturdy and able to play long stretches and even when he looked winded and word was on some back pain issues, he still played impressively. Glad to see Summer League isn't a automatic no-go and bodes well for his health hopes that staff are taking this approach.
Thought I heard that Bassey's recovery would take up to training camp which would be devastating. Seeing him in Summer League would be promising.
Can't see Tre Jones attending Summer League but I agree it would be a great way to test out the connection with Wembanyama.
Thrilled to see the 22 trio with crown jewel Wembanyama added. Really looking forward to scoping out Sidy Cissoko too.
I don't want Tre Jones on the summer league team. I want Blake Wesley to take those minutes and show us what he can do.
This should be the best summer league team the Spurs have fielded in years, with a legitimate chance to win the championship (even without Wembanyama).

If the Spurs bring Wemby, Sochan, Branham, Wesley, Mamu, Champagnie, Rice, and Jones....they have to be the favorites, right? Even though Wemby won't play every game, despite saying he'd like to
, the majority of that roster is what we were running in the NBA to end last season
I bet the spurs almost bring like different two teams one for the Sac League and one for Vegas. Sure some of the guys will play in both leagues but I’d bet Sochan and Wemby only play in Vegas
I also expect Sochan won’t get run the whole time.
That would be the smart move. LV is the important one and also get to show our new guy some Vegas fun
I don't see Tre Jones or Mamu playing summer league. That's insane. Wemby, Branham and Sochan will probably get shut down after they dominate 2-3 games.

Wemby, Sochan, and Tre probably only play a couple games before they’re shut down, which is fine. I want Blake Wesley playing lots of minutes. Need to see if he’s improved his ability to finish around the rim at all. Wanna see how Sidy looks too.
Why the would Tre play in SL? Isn't he a FA? If the Spurs bring sign him to a new deal, why would they risk him getting hurt in SL when he'd be the only true PG on the roster.
Wesley has a lot to show this Summer League on the progress he’s done in the Summer. Considering the Spurs’ major need was a PG but was not addressed at the Draft despite rumors, I suspect and hopeful that Wesley (or Malaki) has shown major progress at practices. I can’t wait.

We're going to see our players for about three minutes a game each and then watch Danny McGonnagil from Whateverthe University the rest of the games.
As long as Wemby play July 9 when I'm in Vegas that's all I care about
Wemby misses one basket and Rockets fans are going to be all over it. Those guys are super petty right now and they keep saying over and over how Sengun will have a better career than Wemby.
Thunder fans swear Chet will be better and expect him to win ROY.

I get the impression that Wemby would want to win that ROY (in contrast to Timmy who could care less). I think Pop will help him get a great shot at it to please the new franchise player. I still trust Pop against any coaches in the NBA with the X’s and O’s of this game. He will highlight Wemby’s game, surrounding him with shooters and who can pass. I know it’s a sensitive issue to some
