A 21 yrs old, 7'0 with a 7'3 wingspan rim protector with nearly 2 blocks per game. He's a good project big, very athletic and can run the floor, but has no outside shot, and never shoots the three, rarely shoots the FT. He will be an Austin mainstay. If he can develop any kind of outside shot, then he has a chance.

I'll be curious to watch him in the Summer league.

You need someone to lob pass to this guy. He likes to roll to the basket.

I assume this would be in a way to push Barlow and give him some compe ion for this two way roster spot? Cant see them keeping both.

In twenty minutes per game 1.8 Blocks, 3.0 Foul
    FT .355 (.612 first year)
    I'm not seeing it....

But then again I never watch him play (well I did but don't remember him was watching Brandon Miller)

He moves like Mutombo, who was top 5.

Not even 20 years ago. Hasheem Thabeet went 2nd overall in 2009

It's hard to imagine him learning to shoot well enough to ever be an NBA player

He has a long way to go to be able to push Barlow. This looks more like a pure Toros signing to see if he can learn how to play basketball.

He doesn't learn how to shoot the 3. Rim running bigs who can switch and block shots a la Robert Williams are usually advanced stats monsters. Those are always valuable players who fly under the radar in the new NBA. He should learn how to shoot free throws though. If you can't hit them you really have no chance to make it in the league

I meant any perimeter shots besides dunking .

I’ve never really watched him play and I don’t know his perimeter defense, but he seems fast on his feet.

Reminds me a little of prime Shaq but with more potential. Hope we can afford to pay him on his 2nd contract.

Shaq can't play in today's NBA without a 3 pt shot. He'd be like Boban, only without the FT shooting.

IDK why people keep saying he's athletic. He runs as if he has flat feet or bad knees or as of he has lower back problems. At his age, that's not a good sign at all.
