Was watching his tape the other day since Tankathon has him as the #3-ranked prospect for 2024. Looks like a pretty solid prospect, but definitely not worth tanking for. Spurs won’t be tanking this year anyways.
the next big thing, will join the draft in 2024. Euro/French player, currently in TP's ASVEL, he is for sure the target the Spurs must focus on.

It's Stéphane Risacher, and yes, he is his son.
He was at ASVEL last year, but like Wemby, he moved on to prep for the draft.

Stephon Castle looks great and would be great as the future PG for the Spurs.

France just beat USA u19 and will play world cup final (Sunday IIRCC)

Denial - it’s just a slow start
Anger - ing cheap-ass front office didn’t improve the team. Wemby is overrated.
Bargaining - they can still go on a run and make the play-in
Depression - this sucks, Wemby is going to leave and the team is moving to Austin
Acceptance - actually this is brilliant, now we have two lottery picks and one of them can go for Risacher
So far I'm more impressed with Buzelis & Holland. Buzelis looks extremely fluid at 6'10", very good ball handler, slasher and finisher, seems to be able to hit the 3 though I haven't been able to get some stats, he's got a thin frame that's reminiscent of early Durant though so we'll see how he fills up, but without much evidence and going only by a few clips I watched online he's the one who stood out the most to me.
Well, by that logic they look like "French citizens" as much as Pop looks like a "US citizen" I suppose. Pop's ancestors weren't native americans, you know? It's perplexing to me that in a country as developed and lenient on immigration as the US they can't seem to wrap their head around that just because you're European or South American you don't necessarily have to be of any specific ethnicity/race.

Exactly. Il's not the next "big thing" for sure.
All those guys are born in France, and, most importantly, are scouted and trained in french academies.
