I think I pay about $12 extra on my cable bill for BallySports. Now if you don't have cable because it's usually about $100 per month then I can see how it's unaffordable to some people. It's not like Netflix where you can use someone else's log in credentials ...it's house specific.

Trickle down economics is kinda tough when OP’s mom is only pulling 8 dollars and half a ham sandwich for every trick.

Do a monthly subscription, October thru April. That’ll cost $140. Divide that by 82 games, and it’s $1.70 a game, and if you don’t want to pay that, you’re not much of a fan.

$1.70 per game, Playblair!!! Just drop one of your kiddie porn subscriptions and you're way ahead. Just have to prioritize those entertainment dollars. Watch Keldon Johnson or hold your own Johnson...the choice is yours....

It's never cost that much for me. I think for a gazillion channels its about $89.95. Reckon it's all relative, but not $230.

Im sure if you drop your checking account and routing numbers in here some gentle souls would happily add money into your account so you can watch our boy Wemby from time to time. Maybe include your social security number just in case.

If you are broke but want to watch sports just use the many sites that provide illegal streams. Some of them are very reliable and high quality, I can give you my list if you want it. I honestly prefer to watch games this way because you don't get commercials and see the stadium halftime shows and such instead.

Also don't give me the whole "I'm a felon" and don't want to get caught thing. Its not illegal to watch those streams, its just illegal to host them.

I remember working at Pinky's Pagers in Austin a long time ago. Right before cell phones went digital.
They cornered the market on pager sales.

I started at the Home Base, the location on Riverside. Then I managed a satellite and happily so.

Because working at the Hub was also doing Hobo Detail.
One of us was picked each day to threaten, cajole, anything you could do to kick out the tent-makers who wouldn't leave our corner.

Boy, would they get us back.
We had a small alley between the store and the singlewide mobile unit that kept the pager/phone repair guys.
The hobos would poop on the path from our door to their door. There was no way to avoid it.
Yeah. We called the cops. Constantly.

I'm sorry, you got me in my memories...
    More to the point.

There was this dude. He looked like a mish mash of Wayne Knight and a mouse and he drove a Miata.
He would come, like 9 sharp and pick up 2 hobos, almost daily.
He's driving, and he picked up 2 dudes in his Mazda Miata.

Think about that. We would watch them squirm to fit.
This is downtown Austin back when Austin wasn't completely cuckoo for cocoa puffs!
It was on the brink, but not there.

I wonder if calf-tats ever met that guy. He probably would solve his cable price issues with a couple Miata pickups.

Not a 1 person household, as if that would matter. They don't care how many people in your family watch. lol So otherwise you're about right $125 per month...but there may be a way to get Bally without cable.
