It wouldn’t be normal to head into training camp without a dude that looks like forms.
If Bryn and Belinelli had a kid together..
FO trolling fans. Austin was a mess last year glad they are bringing in pull up guys with some playmaking.
Ace about gave me a heart attack
Bryn Forbes has more championships than anyone on the Spurs roster.
Pop be missing his Precious…
People might be under the assumption that Popovich is coaching the Austin Spurs.
It looks like Spurs did the Millner and McCoy signings last Friday and didn't communicate on it:

Payne being waived was likely to open a roster spot for these moves.
Spurs have now 21 players under contract which is the max allowed during the off-season. If they are going to sign, as rumored, Charles Bediako to an exhibit 10 contract, they will need to waive someone. It could be McCoy if he has been signed only to get an exhibit 10 bonus or it could be someone else (likely Birch) if they want to have McCoy for the training camp.
I anticipate Birch, Cedi, and Bullock all being waived if a consolidation trade doesn't materialize in a week or two.
I think they hold on to Bullock. He's the most flippable of the 3.
By my count, after Payne, they only need to cut 2 more of the players with real money on their deals.
To flip him, you have to play him to showcase him, eating into the minutes of young players. Cut him along with he other two, and convert Barlow.
Nonsense. He’s been in the NBA for ten years, he was a starter for the Knicks two seasons ago, and for the Mavs last season, he’s a known player in both divisions. Also, he has not been injured. People know him (even if you don’t.)
Cut any random scrubs 11-15, sign any random scrubs to replace em. No one cares. In the end, they will only sit on the bench and cheerlead. Talking about them is like talking about who cleans the ball before each game.
This isn't even a 15 man roster signing, it's an exhibit 10 deal, something that allows an NBA team to pay a player a signing bonus, cut him, and have him revert to their gleague team.
This is a scrub signing just to fill the Austin Spurs roster. Those guys were pretty bad last year also. No worries.
He gets a nice little chunk of change for signing, and a bus ride to Austin.
He also should be waived in a few days. Austin Spurs have acquired his rights sooner this summer:
In the past few days, Spurs have signed and waived 2 additional players for the Austin Spurs: Erik Stevenson and Paul Watson.

I find interesting how Spurs have changed basically everything in Austin after their bad season:
- 5 players have been signed and waived by Spurs for their G-league team: Javante McCoy, Seth Millner, Raiquan Gray, Erik Stevenson and Paul Watson.
- Charles Bediako should join them at the end of the training camp either through an exhibit 10 bonus or 2-way contract.
- Sir'Jabari Rice and Sidy Cissoko should spend most of their time in Austin.
- They hired a new head coach with a lot of experience: Will Voigt.
- They have a new GM with Brent Barry.
- They have at least 3 new assistant coaches: Willis Hall, Pierre Parker and Emmanuel Mavomo.
What remains from last season is Dominick Barlow, an assistant coach and maybe a couple of returning players.
^ as it should be. G-League should be a 2-3 year churn for players and young coaches. At some point the dream has to end for most players, or, with luck, some latch on to a pro team elsewhere after a stint in the g-league. Only right that they must make way for others to pursue their own shots.
